Originally opened in Maebashi, Gunma in 2023, cépages – de la nuit relocated to Tokyo’s Azabu-juban neighborhood in 2026 and is recognized among the Tabelog French EAST Hyakumeiten 2025. Chef Kazuki Ishibashi trained at the classical grand maison APICIUS before honing a more modern sensibility at L’Effervescence, and brings that range to an intimate restaurant built around confident, understated technique.
The compact restaurant seats up to six at the counter plus a fully private room for six, and can be booked in full for private parties. Reservations are recommended for last-minute visits, and the restaurant can issue qualified invoices under Japan’s invoice registration system. Credit cards are accepted (VISA, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX, Diners, UnionPay), though electronic money and QR code payment are not available, and a separate 10% service charge applies.
cépages – de la nuit is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, serving dinner only from 17:00 to 2:00 the following morning (last food order midnight) Monday through Friday.
