Located in the basement of the Sanshi Kaikan building near Hibiya and Yurakucho stations, APICIUS is a long-standing grand maison recognized among the Tabelog French TOKYO Hyakumeiten 2025. A Chiyoda Ward institution for over three decades, the restaurant is known for its classical, meticulously executed French cuisine served in a formal, old-world dining room.
The 50-seat restaurant offers a range of private rooms for two to twenty guests, including two name-designated rooms available for an additional room charge, and the whole restaurant can be booked for private events. Credit cards are widely accepted (VISA, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX, Diners, UnionPay), though electronic money and QR code payment are not available, and a 12% service charge applies. Whole cakes for celebrations can be arranged with a week’s notice for an additional fee.
APICIUS is closed on Sundays, serving lunch from 11:30 to 15:00 (last order 13:00) and dinner from 17:30 to 23:00 (last order 20:00) every other day of the week, including public holidays and the days before and after them; the restaurant also observes a winter closure from December 30, 2026 through January 5, 2027, remaining open on Sunday, December 27 and resuming normal service on January 6, 2027.
