Yuzaburo is a very small, intimate eight-seat counter yakiniku and steak restaurant near Sannomiya in Kobe, specializing in Kobe beef sourced from designated farms alongside the restaurant’s own aged “Yuzaburo Wagyu,” notably a twenty-five day dry and wet aged preparation described as achieving a rich, tender texture. The owner emphasizes a highly personal, idiosyncratic style of hospitality, with heavily reservation-dependent, limited seating and the restaurant’s own house rules. Yuzaburo has been selected for the Tabelog Yakiniku Hyakumeiten list consecutively from 2020 through 2025.
