Yanagikoji TAKA

Yanagikoji TAKA is a 16-seat standing bar in Kyoto’s Kawaramachi district, tucked into the “Yanagikoji” drinking alley off Kiyamachi. It opened in May 2016 with a Spanish-baru-influenced menu of pintxos and small plates paired with wine and sherry.

Note: several other bars share the same Yanagikoji alley, and “TAKA” is a fairly generic name component used by multiple unrelated establishments in Kyoto, so care should be taken not to confuse this shop with others. Selected for Tabelog’s 2025 standing-bar Hyakumeiten, the bar is closed on Tuesdays.
