Yakitori Matsuri (やきとり松里)

Opened in November 2020, Yakitori Matsuri has earned three straight years of Tabelog Hyakumeiten yakitori WEST selection from 2023 through 2025 and carries a Michelin Guide listing alongside it. The chef trained at Ichimatsu, the restaurant widely credited with originating yakitori course dining, and builds Matsuri’s menu entirely around Hinai-jidori, one of Japan’s three great native chicken breeds, with courses designed to showcase every cut of the bird. The Kitashinchi restaurant runs up to three nightly seatings on Fridays and Saturdays to accommodate demand for its heritage-breed courses.
