Wabisuke is a traditional izakaya in Sendai’s Tatemachi district, a short walk from Omachi-Nishikoen Station, locally known for its kamo-dashi seri-nabe (duck-broth mizuna hot pot), a dish some credit it with originating. It has been named to Tabelog’s 2025 Izakaya EAST Hyakumeiten (Top 100) list. Note: the restaurant opens on Sundays that fall within a consecutive holiday run, closing the following Monday instead.
