Ura Pane

Ura Pane is a distinctive bakery-by-day, standing-bar-by-night concept in Osaka’s Utsubo-Honmachi district, near Honmachi Station. Run by the well-regarded Panena bakery brand, it serves a self-refilling basket of freshly baked, daily-changing bread alongside bistro dishes and wine chosen to complement the bread – a novel pan-nomi (bread and drinking) format that has drawn a loyal following and a 2025 Tabelog Top 100 Standing Bars selection. The bakery side, Utsubo Bakery Panena, operates during the day in the same space before the room transforms into the evening tachinomi. It opened in June 2022 and offers a small private room in addition to standing counter seats.
