Tsukune Seisakusho is a reservation-only “daytime drinking” izakaya near Fujisaki Station in Fukuoka, built around handmade chicken-meatball (tsukune) skewers, house noodles, and a focused pure rice sake list. Its unusual daytime hours — opening as early as 11 a.m. on several days — have made it a well-known destination for Fukuoka’s daytime-sake enthusiasts.

The small, cash-only space (about two dozen seats) has earned repeated Tabelog Hyakumeiten recognition for its focused, craft approach to a single specialty dish. Note: in addition to its regular Thursday closure, the restaurant occasionally takes additional irregular days off.
