Torisawa 22 is an intimate 8-seat yakitori counter in Nishi-Azabu, near Hiroo Station, opened by chef Akira Nakasawa as a smaller-scale sister branch of his celebrated Kamedo original, Torisawa. The restaurant is fully reservation-based and focuses on precisely charcoal-grilled skewers of carefully sourced chicken, showcasing the same exacting technique that made the original shop famous. It has been recognized as one of Tabelog’s Top 100 Yakitori Restaurants (Hyakumeiten) in the EAST region multiple years running, including 2025. Expect an intense, focused omakase-style course built around the chef’s signature fire control.
