Toriken (鶏けん)

Toriken is a small, 10-seat charcoal-grilled yakitori counter in central Fukushima City, prized locally for its careful grilling of Fukushima’s own Date-dori branded chicken. The intimate, non-smoking setting and course-based format encourage a slow, attentive meal built around skewer after skewer of skillfully charred chicken. A same-day cancellation fee reflects how reservation-driven the shop is, so booking ahead is recommended. Toriken has been named one of Tabelog’s Top 100 Yakitori Restaurants (Hyakumeiten) in the EAST region for 2025.
