Toribayashi (酉囃子)

Toribayashi is a small, eight-seat counter yakitori restaurant in Azabu-Juban that reopened under this name in February 2025 after relocating from Kagurazaka. The chef focuses on carefully sourced whole chicken and offal, grilled over charcoal and paired with an extensive selection of sake and wine. Booked entirely through reservations, it was named to Tabelog’s Top 100 Yakitori restaurants (Hyakumeiten) for 2025 for its refined, ingredient-driven take on the genre. The restaurant is non-smoking and closed on Sundays.
