Tokoshima (床島)

A short walk from Nishi-Taishido Station, Tokoshima has held a place on the Tabelog Hyakumeiten’s yakitori list for six years running, most recently in 2025. The ten-seat counter restaurant, which also offers a private room for two, keeps a smoke-free dining room and accepts credit cards and QR-code payments alongside cash — a rarity among old-school yakitori counters. Closed Sundays and the first Monday of each month, it has built a loyal neighborhood following in the Sangenjaya area over years of consistent, well-regarded grilling.
