Tachinomi Sharp

Tachinomi Sharp is a highly rated standing bar in Kyoto’s Kiyamachi-Kawaramachi nightlife corridor, specializing in fresh seafood and a curated, rotating selection of Japanese sake sourced from across the country. It opened in October 2020 and is small, with 11 seats and standing room for up to 16, but popular enough with both solo diners and groups that the brand later expanded to a second location. It is fully non-smoking and accepts cashless payment. It was selected for Tabelog’s 2025 Top 100 Standing Bars.
