Tachinomi Izakaya LIBERTY is a late-night standing bar tucked above the streets of Higashi-Umeda, open nightly until 2am for Osaka’s after-work and after-hours crowd. Its menu leans further east than most tachinomi, pairing classic izakaya plates with Sichuan-spiced dishes like numbing mapo tofu, backed by a long list of craft gins and shochu.
Retro Showa-era styling and solo-friendly counter seating give it a lived-in, convivial feel, and it’s closed only on New Year’s Day.
