Opened by brothers from Fukushima Prefecture in August 2019, Sumibi Yakitori Kibitaki has expanded into sister locations while holding Tabelog Hyakumeiten yakitori WEST selection for both 2024 and 2025. The restaurant grills premium Fukushima chicken over Kishu binchotan charcoal and pairs it with a curated wine and sake list in an eighteen-seat space split between counter and semi-private tables, styled as a sophisticated adult hideaway well suited to dates. It keeps late hours nightly with no fixed closing day, a rarity in the Shinsaibashi entertainment district.
