Shinogi is an izakaya in Sendai’s Ichibancho district, near Aoba-dori Ichibancho Station, known for its focus on fresh fish and fried dishes, including a well-reviewed fried horse mackerel. The compact, counter-seated space has an intimate, hideaway feel and has been named to the Tabelog Hyakumeiten Izakaya (EAST) list in both 2024 and 2025.
