Sakadachi

Sakadachi is a narrow, deeply-set standing seafood bar in Tokyo’s Shintomicho area, run by a chef with a background in high-end ryokan kitchens. Fish is sourced each morning from Toyosu Market and served as generous sashimi platters, octopus rice, and simmered fish-head miso soup.

There is no mandatory otoshi charge, a rarity that keeps it approachable for a single quick drink, and it has built a loyal neighborhood following since opening in 2014. Selected for Tabelog’s 2025 standing-bar Hyakumeiten, the bar is closed on Sundays and public holidays (Saturday hours vary irregularly).
