Osake to Hakata Kozara Tanakada (お酒と博多小皿 たなかだ)

Now in its fourth decade, this Hakata institution was reborn in June 2025 as Osake to Hakata Kozara Tanakada, trading its old “prices not on the menu” mystique for transparent, course-based pricing centered on Kyushu seafood, wagyu, and regional chicken. Wine and Japanese sake now share the spotlight alongside classic Hakata small plates like sesame mackerel and chicken nanban.

It remains one of Fukuoka’s most decorated izakaya, carrying Tabelog Hyakumeiten honors across both its former name (田中田) and its current one, at the same address throughout.
