Osaka Mentetsu, near Higashi-Umeda Station, is a sister shop of Toyonaka Mentetsu (post ID 846) within the Mentetsu (麺哲) restaurant group, run by Toyonaka Seimen Co., Ltd. Rather than duplicating the Toyonaka flagship’s tonkotsu-focused recipe, this Osaka location was created to pursue what the company calls the true taste of Osaka, leaning on Osaka’s water quality for a kombu-forward shoyu broth combining chicken, bone, kombu, bonito, and mackerel, paired with finer noodles. It is a distinct, separately located branch, not a duplicate listing.
