Okonomiyaki Omoni Honten is a long-running okonomiyaki restaurant near Tsuruhashi Station, in the heart of Osaka’s Korean Town. Founded in 1966, it has become one of Osaka’s most famous okonomiyaki shops, popular with celebrities and locals alike for its build-your-own approach: diners can add toppings like simmered potato, deep-fried squid, housemade kimchi, beef tendon, and aburakasu (fried beef fat) to their okonomiyaki.
The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday, and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
