Oban is a small, counter-only yakiniku restaurant tucked into Osaka’s upscale Kitashinchi nightlife district. With just ten seats, the restaurant is known for its emphasis on meat freshness and house-made dipping sauces, drawing an after-hours crowd that dines late into the night; the restaurant stays open well past midnight, with last order around 2:30 AM. Oban has been selected for the Tabelog Yakiniku Hyakumeiten (WEST) every year from 2021 through 2025. Note: in addition to its weekly closed day, the restaurant is also closed on public holidays.
