Niku Ryori Nigatsu Kokonoka (肉料理 二月九日)

Niku Ryori Nigatsu Kokonoka is an ultra-small, reservation-only yakiniku and horumon restaurant in Kato, Hyogo Prefecture, seating only six guests at a single table. The restaurant is run by a chef with a background at a famous Tokyo yakiniku establishment, and is known as a “meat theater” experience where the chef grills tableside. It is cash-only and extremely difficult to book, with a reported multi-year waitlist. The restaurant has been a consecutive Tabelog Yakiniku Hyakumeiten (WEST) honoree from 2023 through 2025. Note: the restaurant is not currently accepting new phone reservations from first-time guests.
