Nakasu Yatai Kibun (中州屋台紀文)

Nakasu Yatai Kibun is a traditional open-air food stall (yatai) along the Nakasu riverside in Fukuoka, one of the few yatai-format restaurants ever selected for Tabelog’s Hyakumeiten Izakaya list. Run for decades by a husband-and-wife team, it offers a classic, cash-only yatai experience with a handful of counter seats. As with many long-running yatai, it is reported to be oriented primarily toward regular, repeat customers, so first-time visitors are encouraged to inquire in advance and to bring cash, as cards and e-money are not accepted. Note also that the address given is approximate, as is typical for a mobile street stall rather than a fixed storefront.
