Kairyu Hakata Main Branch (魁龍 博多本店)

Kairyu Hakata Main Branch is the flagship shop of a Kurume-style tonkotsu ramen chain, located in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka. Its intensely rich broth is made by simmering only pork heads and back fat for roughly 24 hours in a traditional cast-iron pot, using a continuous call-back method to keep the flavor concentrated. The shop stays open into the evening every day of the week, closing early only if the soup runs out, and offers a signature all-toppings bowl along with its original spicy miso condiment.
