Hiranoya is an okonomiyaki restaurant in Fukuyama specializing in Bingo-Fuchu-style okonomiyaki, locally known as Fuchu-yaki, which is traditionally made with minced meat rather than sliced pork belly. The restaurant carries on the taste of a Fuchu-yaki shop with roughly 50 years of history. Note: this Hikino-cho location in Fukuyama is a separate restaurant from a similarly-named okonomiyaki shop in nearby Fuchu City.
The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays, with occasional additional closures on the first and third Thursday of the month.
