Gekkou (月肴)

Gekkou is an intimate, reservation-only sake bar and izakaya near Yotsuya-sanchome in Shinjuku, seating a maximum of four guests at a counter and small tables. It pairs a curated selection of Japanese sake with seasonal, home-style dishes, and was newly selected for Tabelog’s 2025 Hyakumeiten (Top 100) izakaya list for eastern Japan. Because seating is extremely limited, advance reservation is effectively required, and occasional additional irregular closures beyond its regular Sunday/holiday schedule are announced via social media.
