Funakko is a long-running izakaya by Higashi-Funabashi Station specializing in sardine (iwashi) cuisine, from sashimi to namero and tsumire soup, backed by decades of experience and an extensive sake list. It relocated to its current location near the station in 2015. It was named to Tabelog’s 2025 Izakaya EAST Hyakumeiten (Top 100) list.
