Essence, a reservation-only French restaurant a short walk from Akita Station, is honored in the Tabelog French EAST Hyakumeiten 2025 for a vegetable-forward course menu served in a stylish, counter-and-table dining room.

The restaurant seats 19 across counter, table and private-room seating (a private room for four is available), offers three parking spaces in front of the building, and keeps no fixed weekly closing day.
