Dokushaku Sanshiro is a long-established izakaya in central Asahikawa, Hokkaido, founded in 1946 and known for traditional charcoal-grilled yakitori and Asahikawa-style izakaya fare. It was featured in the TV series “Kodoku no Gurume” (Solitary Gourmet) and draws steady crowds, so a reservation is recommended. It has been named to Tabelog’s 2025 Izakaya EAST Hyakumeiten (Top 100) list, also having been recognized in 2021 and 2024.
