Chotsugahi is an izakaya near Sendai’s Kotodai-koen Station in Aoba Ward, serving home-style “evening meal” (banshaku to bangohan) cooking alongside sake, in a renovated old-house-style interior with counter and tatami seating. It is the third shop opened by the operator of the well-known Sendai izakaya group “Cho-Cho.” Chotsugahi was named to Tabelog’s 2025 Izakaya EAST Hyakumeiten (Top 100) list.
