Tucked into the retro “Fukurōji” arcade beneath the JR tracks near Fukushima Station, Brio is a tiny, reservation-only izakaya that has built an outsized reputation on Osaka’s dining scene.

A two-time Tabelog Izakaya Hyakumeiten honoree (2024, 2025), it draws devoted regulars willing to book far in advance for its inventive, chef-driven small plates. Expect an intimate counter setting where seats vanish fast — the restaurant is currently not accepting new reservations.
