BOY

BOY is a standing bar near Higobashi Station in Nishi-ku, Osaka, opened in December 2023 by the operator behind several other Osaka standing bars. The menu ranges beyond a single genre, built around well-made cocktails and highballs paired with small dishes that draw on izakaya, Southeast Asian, and Italian-leaning influences, including lamb skewers and marinated sardine. The counter and standing tables are custom-built from heat-treated wood, and the shop has earned a spot on Tabelog’s 2025 standing-bar Hyakumeiten list.

No reservations are accepted, and the shop reportedly fills up quickly in the early evening.
