Fukushima Koufukuya is an old-fashioned neighborhood standing bar about a 12-15 minute walk from JR Fukushima Station, popular with regulars for its quiet, relaxed, no-frills atmosphere. The menu centers on simple, well-made izakaya fare, notably bluefin tuna sashimi platters, fried chicken, and monkfish karaage, backed by an unusually deep sake list.
