Kitan In (きたん 韻)

Kitan In is a small, high-end yakiniku restaurant with only around ten counter seats, occupying a building with roughly 120 years of history near Hozenji Yokocho in Osaka’s Dotonbori district. The chef-owner personally grills premium wagyu, including aged beef, along with seafood and seasonal vegetables over charcoal at an open counter, positioned as a sensory, omakase-style dining experience rather than a conventional a la carte yakiniku restaurant. Reservations are notoriously difficult to obtain. Kitan In has been selected for the Tabelog Yakiniku Hyakumeiten (WEST) 2025.
