Onomichi Ramen Yamacho (尾道ラーメン 山長)

Note: Selected for the Ramen OSAKA “Hyakumeiten” 2025 list. Onomichi ramen (尾道ラーメン) is a regional style from Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture — a soy-sauce broth built on pork and chicken bones with seafood dashi, characterized by chunks of pork back fat (背脂) floating in the soup and flat noodles. This shop is a well-known Osaka interpretation of the style. Counter seating only (12 seats), cash only, closed Mondays, no reservations, and photography inside the restaurant is not permitted. A short walk from the east exit of Moriguchi-shi Station on the Keihan Main Line.
