Kona (京祇園ねぎ焼 粉)

Kona (full name: Kyo-Gion Negiyaki Kona) is a negiyaki and okonomiyaki restaurant in Kanazawa’s lively Katamachi nightlife district. Despite the Kyoto (“Kyo-Gion”) reference in its name, the shop is a genuine Kanazawa establishment — the name is an homage to Kyoto Gion-style negiyaki rather than a branch of a Kyoto shop.

The shop serves late into the night on most days and is closed on Wednesdays.
