Takada Ageage

Takada Ageage is a standing bar specializing in deep-fried comfort food, tucked into Osaka Ura-Namba district near Kintetsu Nippombashi Station as an offshoot of the well-regarded Jack to Machilda restaurant group. The twenty-five-seat counter and standing bar serves hearty fried fare including minced-meat cutlet sandwiches, chicken tenders, pork cutlet, and fried chicken thigh, best enjoyed with cold beer.

Opened in April 2024, it has quickly built a following as something of a hidden gem despite its connection to a well-known local restaurant family. The shop operates daily with no fixed weekly closure, making it a reliable stop for a casual drink and a quick fried bite.
