Open since December 2016 a few minutes from Tawaramachi Station, Asakusa Sharemon is a dim-lit, bar-like standing izakaya that draws solo drinkers, couples, and groups alike with sophisticated mood music rather than typical tachinomi rowdiness. Fish arrives daily from Tsukiji, anchoring a menu of handmade dishes such as yuzu-miso namero, smoked daikon potato salad, and shishito-miso grilled chicken, paired with reasonably priced sake served in fixed pours. The roughly 20-seat space mixes an L-shaped counter with a few four-person tables and charges no seating or mandatory-appetizer fees, making it an approachable hideaway in the Asakusa and Tawaramachi nightlife strip. Besides its regular Monday closure, it also closes on an irregular Tuesday about twice a month.
