Daitoen Honten (大東園 本店)

Daitoen Honten is a long-established Hakata yakiniku restaurant near Kushida Shrine in Fukuoka, specializing in premium Japanese Black Wagyu sourced from carefully selected Kyushu producers, including named heritage brands such as Imari beef and Iki beef. It is also well known for its hand-kneaded, hand-pulled buckwheat cold noodles (reimen), served in a broth simmered for half a day from beef bones, a signature dish alongside the restaurant’s yakiniku. The large, fully non-smoking restaurant seats 150 across counter and table seating. Daitoen Honten has been selected for the Tabelog Yakiniku Hyakumeiten 2025.
