Three minutes from Tenjin Station in Fukuoka’s Daimyo district, Torikami Garden City was opened by a chef who trained at Torishiki, the Michelin-starred yakitori restaurant, before striking out on his own inside the Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City Bio Square complex. The restaurant serves both lunch and dinner daily from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Dinner typically runs ¥10,000 to ¥15,000, positioning it toward the premium end of Fukuoka’s yakitori scene and reflecting the technique its chef carried over from one of the genre’s most decorated kitchens.
