Oimatsu Miyamoto (老松みやもと)

Oimatsu Miyamoto has held a place on the Tabelog Hyakumeiten’s yakitori WEST ranking every year from 2022 through 2025, pushing yakitori toward what the owner calls its next stage as a refined culinary art rather than casual bar food. The eight-seat, counter-only restaurant grills free-range Aizu chicken from Fukushima over Kishu binchotan charcoal and finishes many dishes with a tare sauce continuously replenished for sixty years. A tea-room-inspired interior, an owner-curated sake list of about ten varieties, and a strict no-minors, no-strong-fragrance policy set the tone for an adults-only, reservation-only evening.
