Sumiyaki TORI8 is a stylish charcoal-grilled yakitori restaurant tucked on the 8th floor of a hard-to-book Nihonbashi building, popular with couples and wine lovers. The kitchen is known for sourcing rare ‘Kokutei’ black-feathered jidori chicken, grilling each skewer over binchotan charcoal and pairing the courses with a thoughtfully chosen wine list rather than the usual beer and highballs. Service runs in two nightly seatings and centers on an omakase course that showcases a wide range of cuts. It has been named one of Tabelog’s Top 100 Yakitori Restaurants (Hyakumeiten) in the EAST region for 2025.
