Menya Taiga (麺屋大河)

Menya Taiga is a miso ramen specialist a short walk from Hokutetsu-Kanazawa Station, known for its rich, nutty miso broth blended from several regional miso pastes. The tiny counter-only shop regularly draws a line before opening and has been selected for the Tabelog Ramen Hyakumeiten (West) award for four consecutive years since 2022. Signature orders include the classic miso ramen and a miso tsukemen (dipping noodle) version. Its focused, no-frills approach to miso ramen has made it one of Kanazawa’s most talked-about noodle shops.
